Day 67 outdoor beta- Trim the yellow leaves

Day 67 outdoor beta- I’ve been vacillating about whether I should take those yellowing, crappy looking leaves off. I don’t want to take any of the “solar panel” leaves off because I want the plant to still get all the sun it can. The more I’ve thought about it though, those yellow leaves are just waste that the plant is still sending or attempting to send energy to. So today I tried to take one of the yellow leaves off and it just fell off the main stalk; I didn’t even have to pull. Since the leaves came off so easily, I decided to pull all of the yellow or yellowing leaves off as long as they continued to be easy to pull off. The picture shows the plant after it’s pruning.
